Characteristics: Linden blossom contain a variety of bioactive compounds: ethereal oils, flavonoids, polysaccharides, saponins, tanning substances, carotenoids, ascorbic acid, macro- and microelements and other bioactive substances.

Description: The mixture of blossom, floral stems and parts of bracts of various shape. The petal colour is whitish yellow, the colour of cepals is greenish or yellowish grey, the colour of bracts and leaves is light yellow or greenish yellow.. The smell is weak, aromatic. The taste of water extract is sweetish, a little sryptic, with a feeling of sliminess.

Pharmacological properties: Infusion of the linden blossom possesses sudatory effect.

Indications for use: It is used as sudorific at the catarrhal diseases.

Contradictions: Hypersensitivity to the drug, pollinosis.

Adverse effects: Allergic reactions are possible.

Posology and method of use: 10 g (3 tablespoons) Sandy Everlasting blossom is placed into glass or enameled ware, poured with 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water, covered and infused 15 minutes on boiling water bath, cooled 45 minutes, filtered. The remaining product is squeezed out. The volume of the obtained extract is diluted with the boiled water up to 200 ml. The extract is administered hot 1-2 of the glass BID or TID. The infusion must be shaken before administration.

Pharmaceutical form: Powdered herb, 35 g or 50 g in carton packages with inner paper pack. The text and instruction are indicated on the pack in full.

Storage conditions: The product should be kept in a dry dark place. Prepared infusion should be kept in a cool place no more than 2 days. Keep out of reach of children.

Period of validity: 3 years. Do not use after the date of expiry indicated on the label.
